Terms of use

The ground rules for using CementCalc and the limits of the estimates it produces.

Quick answer

CementCalc provides free quantity estimates for planning purposes only. It is not engineering advice, and you are responsible for verifying every quantity before ordering material or pouring concrete.

Acceptable use

You may use the calculators and charts freely for personal and commercial estimating. You may not scrape the site at scale, republish its charts or calculator logic as your own, or attempt to interfere with its operation or advertising.

No warranty

The site and its content are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. While formulas are based on standard geometry, published bag yields and accepted material densities, CementCalc does not guarantee that any result is accurate, complete or suitable for your project.

Not professional advice

Nothing on this site constitutes engineering, architectural, structural or code-compliance advice, and using it does not create a professional relationship. Reinforcement, thickness, bearing capacity and permit requirements must be confirmed with your local building department or a licensed professional. Our assumptions are documented on the methodology page.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CementCalc is not liable for any loss, cost or damage — including wasted material, short loads, rework or project delay — arising from use of this site or reliance on its results.

Third-party links and advertising

The site links to retailers and manufacturers and displays third-party advertising. We do not control those sites, their prices or their policies. See the affiliate disclosure and privacy policy.
